DASL Support Services
DATA ANALYSIS FOR STUDENT LEARNING (DASL) is a state of the art, comprehensive web-based student information management and decision support system solution for Pre K-12 schools. The web interface allows for ease of use and navigation; as well as a consistent “look & feel” across all modules. User friendliness interfaces throughout combine efficiency with an intuitive layout to accommodate both intensive and casual users. Click here to access the DASL brochure.
DASL provides a SEAMLESS exchange of information with the Ohio Department of Education’s (ODE) Education Management Information System (EMIS) report to meet today’s needs. The entire design of DASL translates into major cost savings and improved data management. DASL enables today’s school staff to work smarter, not harder! Click here to access this application.
DASL Course Requests is a on-line tool that allows students to log onto the web and select courses for the following school year. The course catalog is displayed and the student selects courses from those offered. These course requests are loaded into DASL when students Submit their Requests from this application. The Master Schedule Builder / Student-Scheduling software builds the school's master schedule around the students' needs not the teacher's thus eliminating scheduling conflicts. By focusing on the students' requirements (for classes, sections or teams), the Master Schedule Builder eliminates the familiar late-summer "scheduling issues" when students return. The software builds the master automatically by using all student course requests and staff and room requests then schedules the students placing them in course sections. All of the work is performed by the software. This software is compatible with DASL. If you are interested in purchasing the Master Schedule Builder, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Click here for the manual.
SQL Server 2005 Microsoft Reporting Services is an ad-hoc report building tool that provides users the ability to generate reports from the Daslr database. The Daslr database is a read-only database that accesses the live DASL database via views for data retrieval. Microsoft reporting services provides end users the ability to extract data that may not be available in the form of a report in the DASL application. Once a report is saved it can be ran multiple times and each time the report will contain real-time data. Reporting services may only be used by districts that are live on DASL.
