Administrative
Services:
The Administrative Department is responsible for the daily
business operations at SWOCA. We conduct meetings for the
SWOCA Board of Directors and Executive Committees, as well
as for the Finance, Personnel/Policy and Planning Committees.
Accounts payables and receivables are also amoung the
responsibilities of this department. If you have questions
concerning state funding, Ohio SchoolNet, Erate or anything
regarding the SWOCA Consortium, please contact the
Administrative Department.
Systems Administrator:
Responsible for maintaining system availability,
operating system upgrades and patches, monitoring performance
and capacity of SWOCA's Alpha systems and disk drives. Develops
procedures to maintain such operations as backups, file maintenance,
security monitoring and other scheduled tasks.
Fiscal - Accounting
Services:
The Fiscal - Accounting Services department
provide several services to member districts. These services
include Accounting, Payroll, Salary Projections and much more.
Network / Internet / Technical
Services:
The network department designs, implements,
and maintains the
infrastructure of SWOCA and our districts. This includes a
broad range
of services such as network security, documentation and monitoring,
troubleshooting and repair of routers and switches, and assistance
with
domain name services. The network department will assist in
most voice,
data, and video network issues.
Student Services:
The Student Services Team provides services
to member districts on the following applications: SIS/POISE,
EMIS - Student, SWAN and DASL. SSS also works with member
districts to provide data to companies for generation of such
things as pre-identification labels for testing, transportation
packages, and gradebook packages.
INFOhio:
INFOhio, a statewide cooperative school library
and information network, uses technology to ensure curriculum
and instruction of information literacy by providing greater
access for Ohio's learners and educators. INFOhio's components
include electronic resources for schools, instructional development
for teachers, library automation, media booking, and a statewide
union catalog.
