Progress Book is a fully featured GradeBook
package which includes lesson planning, alignment with state
indicators and Web access to classroom information by parents
and students. This is an additional item not included in regular
SWOCA fees. A username and password is required to access

DSL (Data for Student Learning):
The Management Council of the Ohio Educational
Computer Network (MCOECN) and the Twenty-three Information Technology
Centers worked together to provide a service called Data
for Student Learning (DSL). This data analysis and reporting
tool enables school districts to access multiple years of
student, proficiency, and other testing data through a very
simple web interface. Over seventy percent of the school districts
in Ohio are using DSL in their efforts to improve student
instruction.
D3A2 Project:
The Data Driven Decisions for Academic Achievement (D3A2) project is
a long-term initiative focused on developing the capacity of
educators while improving instruction and student achievement. D3A2
will provide systemic access to timely data and educational resources
aligned to Ohio's Academic Content Standards.

ERATE:
This is our latest collection of Erate forms
and information. Feel free to add your own experiences that
will be helpful to others. You can view and download without
a Forum login - you will need to login to add items.
FISCWeb:
FISCWeb, is an imbedded capability of the OECN State Software, and can be utilized with the USAS, USPS, SAAS, EMIS and Poise packages. What this service entails is the creation of a password-protected Web page that can be utilized to access current (or archived) reports for your district.
INFOhio:
INFOhio, a statewide cooperative school library
and information network, uses technology to ensure curriculum
and instruction of information literacy by providing greater
access for Ohio's learners and educators. INFOhio's components
include electronic resources for schools, instructional development
for teachers, library automation, media booking, and a statewide
union catalog.
KIOSK:
The Human Resources Kiosk website is available to all SWOCA districts
and their employees. Click on this link to register or log in to your
account to view your personal pay information, leave balances and job
position details or to submit a leave request to your supervisor for
approval.
Microsoft Reporting Services:
SQL Server 2005 Microsoft Reporting Services is an ad-hoc report building tool that provides user’s
the ability to generate reports from the Daslr database. The Daslr database is a read-only database that accesses the
live DASL database via views for data retrieval. Microsoft reporting services provides end users the ability to extract data
that may not be available in the form of a report in the DASL application. Once a report is saved it can be ran multiple times
and each time the report will contain real-time data. Reporting services may only be used by districts that are live on DASL.
OECN:
The Ohio Education Computer Network (OECN) consists
of 23 Information Technology Centers (computer consortia) which provide
on-line computerized services to the member school districts
in their region. The 23 OECN Information Technology Centers also serve
as Designated Information Technology Centers (DDAS) to collect and
aggregate EMIS report data for the districts in their region.

Web Pages:
Ohio Career Information System is a national
leader in the development and implementation of a statewide
computer-based career information system. The Ohio Career
Information System (OCIS) has one of the largest combined
state and national databases in the nation. OCIS has proven
to be a valuable resource to youth and adults through all
phases of the career development process.
Ohio
Department Of Education:
The Ohio Department of Education Web page provides
information that is timely and responsive for Ohio school
districts. Sample types of data which can be accessed from
that site include: EMIS data and local report cards, Ohio
Educational Directory and Teacher Certification just to name
a few.
SSWAT:
The State Software Web Access Tools (SSWAT)
software is designed and written by the SSDT to provide quick
and easy Web access to OECN State Software data, currently
limited to USAS Accounting information. The SSWAT software
consists of an SQL database component and a Web Application
component.
SWAN:
SIS Web AtteNdance is an electronic Scan Sheet
that teachers can access via the web browser. Teacher's with
account's set up on the server and students assigned to courses
they are teaching, will be able to pull up via the web class
lists. The teacher's will then be able to enter in Attendance
and/or Grades via the web site and send them to the office.
USASWeb:
The USASWeb application was developed by the State Software Development Team (SSDT) on behalf of the
Ohio Department of Education and the MCOECN.
USASWeb provides USAS functionality using a web interface, using industry standard technologies.
USASWeb provides the ability to post, modify, convert, and print USAS requisitions as well as the
ability to post, modify, and delete purchase orders, vendors, receipts and refunds. USASWeb uses the same
security constraints and has many of the same features as USAS.
USPSWeb:
The USPSWeb application was developed by the State Software Development Team on behalf of the Ohio
Department of Education and the MCOECN.
USPSWeb provides USPS functionality using a web interface using industry standard technologies.
The initial version of USPSWeb provides the ability to add and modify new employee biographical
information as well as posting attendance and querying benefit data. USPSWeb uses the same security
constraints as USPS.
Webcast Training Videos:
The Mediasite Viewer software is available to access pre-recorded training by SWOCA staff.
Training sessions available include USASWeb Requisitions Training, SWOCA’s Web-based Calendar Training,
FISCWEB Setup Training and ARP Training. In the near future, the ability to broadcast a live interactive/training
