Congratulations to Amy Price, District Media Specialist for Princeton City Schools on being named the recipient of the 2018 OELMA Intellectual Freedom Award for demonstrating exceptional leadership in support of school library media specialists ans school library media programs. Amy was recognized this week during the OELMA Annual Conference in Columbus, Ohio.
The Intellectual Freedom Award recognizes Ohio school librarians and/or other Ohio educators who demonstrate support for the American Library Association’s principles of intellectual freedom. Award recipients exhibit a strong commitment to First Amendment values through the active promotion of — and defense of — the freedom to read and ALA’s principles of intellectual freedom.
