Welcome to Todd Yohey, SWOCA's new Associate Director

We are excited to announce that Todd Yohey has been selected as our new Associate Director, beginning January 5, 2021.  After receiving over 50 applications and conducting an extensive interview process, Todd was recommended and unanimously approved by the SWOCA Executive Committee at its last meeting.

Todd has spent the past thirty-three years serving students in public education. He started his career as a high school chemistry teacher before moving into school administration. Todd has served as an elementary principal, as assistant superintendent, and the past seventeen years as a school superintendent. He recently completed his fifth year as superintendent for the Lebanon City Schools, after serving in the same role in Oak Hills and Ross.

Todd has also served as an adjunct professor at both Wright State University and Xavier University teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses in chemistry and educational leadership. Mr. Yohey was selected as one of 300 educators from the United States to travel to China in 2010 as part of the Hanban Chinese Bridge Delegation and was selected by eSchool News as one of the top ten tech-savvy superintendents in the United States in 2012. He has also served, for many years, on the BASA technology committee.

We are looking forward to Todd joining the leadership team at SWOCA!
