Notifications provide a quick way for districts to communicate key events to members of the district. Notification rules are either required, optional, or disabled at the district, building, and/or individual level, and a combination of these configurations determines if a user can receive or subscribe to a notification. In addition to setting up notification rules, users must also have the proper security settings in order to receive notifications. Depending on the rule, users must have the corresponding resource permission enabled and be assigned the correct job function(s).
