Position Announcement – EMIS Support Liaison
The SouthWest Ohio Computer Association (SWOCA), one of Ohio’s largest Information Technology Centers (ITC), is seeking an energetic, self-starter to join our student team as an EMIS Support Liaison. We are looking for a support specialist with strong customer service skills and in-depth knowledge of EMIS. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in supporting and/or using EMIS software applications. Experience with Frontline’s StudentInformation system is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide end-user training and ongoing support for EMIS reporting.
- Translate EMIS requirements and perform user acceptance testing and implementation.
- Serve as a knowledge expert and work closely with end users.
- Focus on continuous training and support on the EMIS requirements from the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.
- Communicate effectively with a strong focus on customer service.
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience with EMIS software applications.
- Ability to obtain EMIS Professional certifications (CEP, MCEP, and Data Manager).
- Proficiency in all SWOCA supported EMIS software/programs.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to make presentations and conduct training sessions for small and large groups.
- Willingness/ability to work as a team member.
- Must pass a criminal background check.

Position Announcement – IT Support Technician
SWOCA, the SouthWest Ohio Computer Association, has an open position available for an IT Support Technician in our TSS department. We are looking for a customer-service focused support professional to join an established team in support of Staff and students. The Support Technician’s primary responsibilities include daily client support of both technical and non-technical users among our members staff and clients. The technician will also assist other IT staff with ongoing projects and system maintenance.
Our Ideal candidate will have an Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and technical experience, a thorough knowledge of Windows and MAC PCs, and experience training and coaching users. In this role you will focus on user support and training for the use and functionality of all aspects of our members IT enterprise. You must be an effective communicator with a strong focus on customer service.
